Course Description

Course Description: Students will build on their nutritional knowledge and understanding of the relationship between food choices and well-being, as well as gaining an awareness of sustainability and diets for specific needs. They will continue to develop food preparation skills including food safety alongside their growing nutritional knowledge.
Assessments offer up to 18 credits. Talk to the teacher in charge prior to selecting the course if you are interested in subject endorsement.
Prerequisites: Level 1 Food and Nutrition is an advantage. If new to the subject then prior approval of the Teacher In Charge is required.
