Year 11 Design & Visual Communication
11DVC Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mr L. Newsome.
Design and Visual Communication is a subject where students solve real world design problems. They do this by using a combination of Computer (CAD) drawing and sketching to visually communicate their design thinking.
This course focuses on designing, computer (CAD) drawing, modelling, rendering and 2D & 3D sketching. It will prepare students for Level 2 NCEA DVC.
Assessments will be based on parts of the design assignments and spread throughout the year.
